Mount Tai is a famous mountain with the longest history of being visited in China. Due to its majestic momentum, it ranks first among the Five Great Mountains and also has the reputation of "the No.1 Famous Mountain under Heaven".

The mountain body is magnificent. The ancients regarded it as a "path directly leading to the imperial throne", a kind of paradise. There are more than 20 ancient architectural complexes and over 2,200 steles and stone carvings on the mountain.

Mount Tai is also a sacred place for both Buddhism and Taoism. The temples and scenic spots of the two religions are scattered all over the mountain, which has become one of the highlights of Mount Tai.

The Dai Temple is the largest and most complete ancient architectural complex on Mount Tai. Its main building, the Tiankuang Hall, together with the Hall of Supreme Harmony in the Forbidden City and the Hall of Great Achievement in the Confucius Temple, is known as the three major halls in China.

In the north of Mount Tai, there is the famous Lingyan Temple. Inside the temple, there are the Pizhi Pagoda built in the Tang Dynasty, the Thousand - Buddha Hall, and the Forest of Stupas, which are stone cultural heritages of high value.
