Tourists can choose the mountain - entry routes according to their own situations. Tourists traveling by car can choose the route of Tianping Lake Visitor Center. While parking for free, they can take the "Gandanghao" scenic area direct bus to Zhongtianmen or Taohuayuan.

Tourists who choose to hike up the mountain at Hongmen can experience new cultural and tourism projects in the Hongmenli Block on the east side of the square, such as Taishan Shenqi immersive experience space, Tai'an Taste specialty restaurants, Taishan - witnessed wedding - travel integration, Tai'an cultural and creative products exhibition and sales for courtesy reception, and intelligent light trees. During the hiking process, they can enjoy Taishan's magnificent natural scenery and profound cultural connotations. Compared with the Hongmen hiking route, the Dongyudao hiking route has a gentle slope, which is suitable for slowly hiking to enjoy Taishan's original ecological natural scenery.

If tourists do not want to walk too long a distance, they can choose to take the scenic area sightseeing bus from Tianwaicun to Zhongtianmen, or take a vehicle from Taohuayu to Taohuayuan, and then choose to climb the mountain on foot or by cableway. These two routes are relatively easy and are suitable for tourists with less physical strength. Due to routine maintenance, the Zhongtianmen cableway will be suspended from November 9th to December 8th. During this period, tourists taking the cableway up and down the mountain are requested to choose the Taohuayuan line at Tianping Lake Visitor Center or take a vehicle to enter the mountain at Taohuayu Visitor Center. At the Tianwaicun mountain - entry point, Taishan Cultural Tourism Group has created a tourism service complex "Tai'an Impression" integrating cultural tourism reception, intangible cultural heritage performance, cultural and creative product exhibition and sales, famous and excellent local specialties, and foot - bath health preservation. Tourists are also welcomed to experience it before or after climbing the mountain.
