Tickets
The ticket price is 115 yuan, and the student ticket is half - price. Everyone must remember to buy tickets in advance. There are several entrances. I chose the Hongmen entrance at that time. After buying tickets, you can visit Dai Temple within 3 days. You need to swipe your ID card to enter.
Night Climb
Since I climbed Mount Tai at night, I will share my night - climbing experience with you. The whole journey of night climbing and hiking is about 6 hours. I entered from Hongmen. It takes 20 minutes to walk from the tourist center to the ticket checkpoint. It takes about 2 hours from the ticket checkpoint to Zhongtianmen. After arriving at Zhongtianmen, you can walk to Nantianmen for about 3 hours, or take the cable car directly to Nantianmen in 10 minutes. It takes 40 minutes to walk from Nantianmen to Yuhuangding.
Precautions for Night Climb
Be sure to check the weather forecast in advance. Only on sunny days can you see the sunrise, and on cloudy and rainy days you can see the sea of clouds. For those who climb at night, it is recommended to carry a backpack.
It is not recommended to bring a down jacket, because there are long coats reaching the ankles for rent at the top of the mountain. You can buy hiking sticks everywhere. It is recommended to buy them in any store outside the scenic area. Be sure to buy the wooden ones for three yuan each. The metal ones are not solid at all. Don't be fooled.
For strong - light flashlights, they are sold for five yuan each at the entrance of the scenic area. There is no need to buy them on holidays because there are a lot of people climbing at night.
It is recommended to bring some food that can replenish your strength. Mineral water is relatively heavy and is sold in the scenic area, so you don't need to bring it.
It is not recommended to buy handicrafts in Mount Tai scenic area. You can go to Dai Temple to buy small handicrafts.
